Noeline Paul, past President of the Rotary Club of Richmond Hill said "I am thrilled to have or club launch an award that recognizes women and their many achievements. As a club, we knew it was important to acknowledge that women play a significant role in the betterment of society. We all know women who are leaders in so many different ways, some beyond traditional notions of leadership, and this award gives us the opportunity to showcase and appreciate women who lead and inspire us in our local community."
